Walking trails start right outside the door, and Villa Ghigi — Bologna’s largest city park — is just a short walk away. From here, you can explore the Bolognese hills… or walk into the historic centre when you feel like city life again.

🏙️ You could find it strange to be both close and far from the city
BoscoBo is quiet and green, yet Bologna’s historic centre is easily reachable. If you prefer choosing between “only city” or “only countryside”, the balance we offer might confuse you.

🏡 You may miss being anonymous
BoscoBo is a small, family-run place, and we live on site. We welcome our guests personally, share tips and sometimes a friendly chat. If you prefer check-in machines and silent corridors, this may feel too human.

☕ You might expect hotel-style service
There is no daily housekeeping or room service here. Our apartments are designed for independence, slow mornings and simple comforts — perfect for those who enjoy feeling at home.

🌱 You might not be looking for something authentic
BoscoBo is not staged or polished to perfection. It is simple, genuine and quietly Italian. If authenticity is not what you are after, this may not be the right choice.
